Really good article by Michael Hyatt on annoying meeting habits.  Read the whole thing at the link.

How many of these have you seen in meetings?  How many of them are you guilty of?

Ten Annoying Meeting Habits

  1. Arriving late.
  2. Taking phone calls.
  3. Checking e-mail.
  4. Engaging in side conversations.
  5. Not taking notes.
  6. Talking too much.
  7. Interrupting others.
  8. Not coming prepared.
  9. Chasing rabbits.
  10. Not speaking up.

When you really get down to it, all of these flow from the same basic problem: disrespect. Just think how much more productive we could make our meetings if we all showed one another respect and eliminated these behaviors.
